The 86-Year-Old Scammed Out of £43k by a Fake Police Officer | This Morning

86-year-old Janet was caring for her husband, a dementia sufferer, when she received a call from someone claiming to be in the Police Fraud Squad. They convinced her that the only way to protect her £43K life savings was to purchase two Rolex watches, which would then be collected by a courier, which she did. The next morning, Janet began to doubt the exchange and called 999 - only to discover she’d fallen victim to a scam.
