Beachcombing Pacific Northwest
This was my summer job when I was a teenager. Got to see a lot of the Northwest coast of BC and had a lot of fun doing it. The small tug we used for yarding the wood off the beach was the "Tadpole" powered by a Jimmy 8V53. It worked quite well for the job. Cramped quarters for living onboard though. Tugboat Owner was Ben Vanderheide of Tadpole Towing and Crew (me) Teak Spiller.
