Svend-Erik Tarp: 'Sunshine' for piano
This is the sixth pieces from a collection of 'Six Easy Pieces' Op.55a by the Danish composer Svend-Erik Tarp (1908-1994). I found it in the grade 3 ABRSM exam pieces book from 2005-6. It is a beautiful descriptive piece, the idea of brightness suggested by the recurrent major sevenths in the harmony (the opening chord is an A major triad with an added G sharp).
