Anchor Actress Ivy is making her Broadway debut as the lead in the musical *Chicago*. Reporter Ivy is entering the stage of the musical *Chicago*, currently being performed on Broadway in New York, as the first Korean lead. Following an offer from the production company of Chicago in 2024, she underwent three rounds of video auditions recently. As a result, she has been cast as Roxie Hart for three weeks this coming August in *Chicago*, which is being performed at the Ambassador Theatre in New York. Ivy has played the role of Roxie Hart 592 times in the Korean-language licensed production of Chicago since 2012, making her the actor with the most appearances in this role in Korea. Ivy stated that she has been focusing on practice to master not only the songs but also the long monologues entirely in English, and that she considers it a success simply to be able to properly convey the story to American audiences.
