I'm aware some people will want to put up a stout defence of this guru in the comments, which is understandable, I'm sure he has his talents. But I encourage you to consider what he actually said and what I'm actually trying to respond to. He can be both a wonderful 'community chief' and a flawed human who needs to address his ignorance at the same time.
