Following strict instructions from the High Court, the District Town and Country Planning (DTCP) department in Gurugram has gone into full action mode. The court has clearly ordered that any encroachments, such as guard rooms, ramps, or other structures on the green belt in licensed colonies, be removed immediately and an action report submitted within a week. In compliance with these orders, eight teams have been formed under the leadership of DCP Amit Mandholia. These teams are conducting simultaneous operations in different areas of the city to ensure no laxity in the action. In this connection, a team reached DLF PHACE 1, where bulldozers were used to remove illegal encroachments on the green belt. JCB machines were used to demolish the illegal structures, such as guard rooms and ramps, on the spot to clear the land.
