SHOCKING Email REVEALS ALL!!! | RAF Recruitment is ILLEGAL!

Shocking email describes the appalling abuse of the Equality Act 2010 by the RAF! --- From the email from RAF Recruitment and Selection. However,  I still hold the view that moving to a merit based sift using scores achieved from assessments for candidates would be problematic for the RAF with huge implications on how we do things to achieve our targets. Another, very important point is that the CAS number 1 priority for recruitment is BAME and Women. Currently the ‘first pass the post system’ allows for positive action (although our colleagues in the Royal Navy believe this is an incorrect interpretation of positive action and very likely illegal), a merit based sifting system, as used by the Royal Navy, would not give us the ‘freedoms’ we have now to select candidates to aid the achievement of our No.1 priority. Therefore a BAME candidate that scored 88 cannot move in front of a white male that scored 89 legally as that would be positive discrimination. --- Hit the comments for this one guys, what do you think about the RAF's policy of selecting people based on their skin colour and their sex?
