Unlock Your Spinning Potential: Setup Carves + Off-Snow Training

Get Online Coaching From Me Here:   / snowboardingexplained   I sort of tried to jam-pack over an hour of information and content into this video, so sorry if it feels a little hectic. It was 35°C at 11 p.m. after I'd just spent the entire day coaching, so this is much more of an inspired video than a well-thought-out, structured one. I'll definitely tackle these topics more clearly and precisely in future videos. I've been teaching these mechanics to people pretty much every single day of the week, so I wanted to make this video to give everyone a solid baseline before airbag training. That way, when we're actually out there, people already understand why we're doing certain things and what they're supposed to be doing, so we can help them reach their trick goals much sooner. I've really noticed that setup carves are what's holding most people back on spins. I've watched thousands of people do spins here at Banger Park, and I can count on one hand how many of them were using setup carves anywhere close to their full potential. Excluding the pros and the people doing 1080s and bigger, the vast majority of snowboarders need to put far more focus into their setup carve positions. This is the first video where I really dive into that, but I'll definitely be making even better and more focused videos on the topic in the future.
