In November, Oregon voters will pick the state’s next governor. It's a historic race for Oregon. Three women are the top contenders for the state's top job; Democrat Tina Kotek, unaffiliated candidate Betsy Johnson, and Republican Christine Drazan. KATU hosted an important debate broadcast across the state, thanks to our sister stations in Eugene and Medford. Republican Christine Drazan, Democrat Tina Kotek, and nonaffiliated Betsy Johnson all have extensive government experience and served together in the state Legislature until resigning to run for governor.
