Our Hokkaido video is still in progress, but this time we will be introducing some very popular tourist spots and RV parks in nearby Shiga Prefecture. We went to the RV park closest to the Metasequoia Tree-lined Avenue in Takashima, a hugely popular tourist destination in Shiga Prefecture that gets extremely congested from autumn to early winter as people flock here from all over the country. The Metasequoia Avenue is a popular area in Shiga Prefecture that attracts many visitors from outside the prefecture, with beautiful autumn leaves in the fall and snowy scenery in the winter. However, it is also famous for causing massive traffic jams during this season, so if you want to avoid the traffic jams and large crowds, it is recommended that you go early in the morning. So, the best thing to do is to stay at the Relaxing Metasequoia RV park, which is located close to the tree-lined road, and go see it early the next morning! This is a stylish Rizote RV park that offers everything from private baths to a barrel sauna, a site with a dog run and a BBQ space, and even offers electric bikes and campervan rentals. This time we stayed overnight and went to the Metasequoia Tree Lined Street early in the morning, and we'll introduce you to a nearby cafe and soba restaurant that allow dogs inside.
