Giving Away My Plugin That's Solving All My Guitar Workflow Needs: RigSuite (NAM A2 Compatible)

Here is an unedited, impromptu overview of RigSculpt, my free VST plugin, with a brief look at its companion application, RigScope. no YouTube-esque hard cuts or polished script here, just a walkthrough of the features I built in to improve my own workflow. RigSculpt grew out of my experience using Steve Atkinson’s open-source Neural Amp Modeler. I love the NAM ecosystem, but I wanted better ways to organize large model libraries, understand how models behave, find useful pairings, build cohesive stereo rigs, manage gain levels, and reduce aliasing during tracking and rendering. RigScope handles the analysis side. It can examine NAM models, cabinet impulse responses, and reverbs, then embed useful measurements into the NAM files so RigSculpt can respond intelligently to the models you load. I think this kind of analysis could eventually be incorporated into the final stage of model training, allowing useful information about a model’s sound and behavior to be included from the beginning. For now, I am keeping development as a one-person process because it allows me to carry the same musical idea through every stage, from how a feature is conceived to how it ultimately feels and sounds under the fingers. I also want to be transparent that I used modern development tools, including AI, to handle a lot of the demanding engineering work that would otherwise require a much larger team and a longer chain of handoffs. I still spent hundreds of hours on it, and every design, musical, and technical decision here is mine -- these tools just let me keep those decisions closely connected and keep refining each part until it reaches the sound and experience I have in mind. I understand AI use is a potentially sensitive issue, so I'll say it plainly: anything I build this way will always be free, and scoped to be a tool for public benefit.
