I’ve always loved Defenders. But somehow this tiny Hot Wheels car ended up leading to another one turning up on the driveway… In this video I talk through the story behind this incredibly original low mileage Defender 90, why I couldn’t stop thinking about it after seeing it at a local classic car garage, and why I genuinely think it might be the best one I’ve owned yet. There’s just something about old Defenders. The smell, the noise, the driving position, the simplicity… they make absolutely no sense, and yet somehow complete sense at the same time. Probably made even worse by the fact I’m already halfway through rebuilding another Defender in the garage.
