HP Pavilion TP01-2066 Desktop PC Review

In this video I review the HP Pavilion TP01-2066 Desktop PC that is being sold by Office Depot and Office Max. This small OEM machine has an 8C/16T AMD Ryzen 7 5700G Zen 3 APU that is the star of the show! It also comes with 16GB (one DIMM) of DDR4-3200 CL22 RAM and a 256GB M.2 PCIe 3.0 x2 NVMe SSD. This APU does not go on sale to the retail market until August 5, 2021. It has similar (but slightly lower) performance to a more expensive AMD Ryzen 7 5800X CPU. Having decent integrated graphics means you can build a functioning system without having a discrete GPU. I take a look at the interior of the machine and do a partial disassembly. I also run a number of bench marks to show the performance of the stock system compared to a system with two sticks of RAM (running at 1066 MHz) in dual-channel mode.
