Yaesu G-2800 rotator strip down for repair & services

This G-2800 rotator was sent to me for repair, it was only installed for about 2 years, upon testing it seemed to be working fine, BUT. Since I had two other G-2800's in for service recently, I decided to video this one as had a feeling I knew what the intermittent problem was. I removed the motor from the gear chassis, removed the BK pinion & BK Spring, to find the BK rotor (BK butterfly) was loose, sliding up & down the motor shaft. Not enough lock tight on the grub screw that holds it in position. If this was left any longer there could have been a lot more damage done.
