Review - NI Traktor Kontrol S4 DJ Controller

I take an in-depth look at perhaps one of the more top-end DJ MIDI Controllers on the market, Native Instruments' Traktor Kontrol S4. It is a fully-featured, 4 deck controller which is designed for and comes with a full copy of Traktor Pro 2. Whilst it has been around for some time now, I see it as very close to, if not the best DJ controller on the market. I was able to pick this up Manufacturer Refurbished (essentially new) on eBay for around £500. New it can be anywhere from £650-800 (dependent on whether its with or without the Flight Case). Whilst it isn't designed for beginners, it is relatively easy to get the hang of and the controls are in very easy, natural positions. It also is has an incredibly high build quality, and doesn't have that 'cheap and plasticy' feel that some other controllers have. Also to be noted is that it has a fully-featured 24-Bit soundcard built into it.
