Dreamline Bass Cover HD

“When we are young Wandering the face of the earth Wondering what our dreams might be worth Learning that we're only immortal For a limited time” I hadn’t planned on posting anything this week. When I’m as far behind in responding to comments as I currently am, I don’t like uploading new videos. It really does weigh heavily on me when I leave comments unanswered. It doesn’t stop me from recording videos, just from uploading them. So, I was just planning on putting the “Peg” cover off to the side to upload at a later date when I heard about Walter Becker’s passing, and then it only made sense to upload it. A short while later I saw that John Patuto, of the Cygnus X-1 Group, posted about today being the 26th Anniversary of the release of the “Roll The Bones” album which came out on this day in 1991. The album happened to come out almost exactly one month before Lynn and I got married and I remember making a cassette copy which we played in our rental car during our honeymoon which was a two week exploration of the entire California coast. Two stops in that exploration included visits to The Bass Centre in Los Angeles, California. We visited the store on our way down the coast and then again on our way back up, each time battling the notorious LA traffic to get there. The Bass Centre was one of the only stores in the country that actually stocked Wal basses. Even though I had the green light from Lynn to get one, I just couldn’t justify spending the $3,000. It took another 25 years before that would happen. Lynn and I saw the Presto tour the previous year when we were engaged and we saw Rush on the “Roll The Bones” tour that December at Madison Square Garden as newlyweds. To this day, I remember it being one of the best sounding shows I’ve ever heard. The song is “Dreamline” and I’m playing the Wal MK2.
