What You've Received, You Must Give

In today's Gospel, Jesus looks at the crowds and is moved with compassion. He sees people who are hurting, searching, and in need of hope. But compassion does not stop with a feeling. It becomes action. In this homily, Fr Richard reflects on how Jesus responds by sending ordinary people into the world with a mission to bring healing, hope, mercy, and life. The call of discipleship is not to solve every problem, but to bring Christ's love wherever life is broken. This Gospel challenges us to see others through the eyes of Jesus and to ask a simple but powerful question: Where is compassion asking to become action in me?
