How to Create a Dumbbell Chart - Tableau in Two Minutes
In this video we show you how to create a dubmbell chart - basically a chart where you have a line between two shapes. These are a great way of compactly showing the direction and size of the change from one timeframe to another, or one item to another. We make one horizontally, although you could make one vertically too, and since the tend to be long and thin (particularly when looking at only a few items), they can help fill in those awkward spaces on on the edges of dashboards.
