With Polyethylene canoes it is necessary to flame treat the area the skid plate is being epoxied to. THIS IS ONLY FOR POLYETHYLENE CANOES. It would easily damage T-Formex/Royalex and is completely unnecessary for those materials. DO NOT USE A FLAME ON T-FORMEX OR ROYALEX.
