HITTING THE CHECKPOINT: THE FINALE! (part one)

Just like Cartoon Limbo, getting the finale of Hitting the Checkpoint in by the end of the year was a race against time! This was one of many gigantic projects that had long been held in limbo(pardon the pun) when my hard drive crashed earlier in the year. It took a lot of work to resuscitate this project- especially due to its sheer length, and obviously, since this is the grand finale, I thought it was about time I give this show a proper opening. Though it uses a lot of recycled elements, it, too, was very time consuming. Normally, the show format is three mini reviews, but because of the amount of time I kept people waiting, I decided to beef up the special even more. I took some late-coming suggestions and added a fourth section to the festivities, making this a monster-sized two parter. I could’ve gave it to you all right here, right now, but it would tip the scales at over an hour… it would be best split in two pieces. Still, these were two great games to summarize, giving me more than enough ammunition to talk a mile a minute… and they are all viewer requests! This episode will cover RedheadRevolution’s SHAQ FU for the SNES, and Sputnik34’s MR. NUTZ. Tune in next week for part two, and Happy New Year, all! What a harrowing year for the channel- better to leave this one in the rear view.
