Nearly every region in Tuban Regency holds traces of the stories and historical relics of the saints who spread Islam in Java. One such example is the tomb of a great saint located in Ngrejeng Village, Grabagan District, Tuban. The saint, known as Mbah Shodiqo, is believed by the local community to be one of the people who opened up the villages in Grabagan District. "Not many people knew about it before, but over the past four years, Mbah Shodiqo's grave has begun to attract pilgrims from various regions, including the Regent (Fathul Huda, ed.)," said Bahrul Ulum, the local village head. The young village head explained that, based on stories circulating in the community and the guidance of senior Kyai (Islamic scholars), Mbah Shodiqo was a disciple of Sunan Bejagung, also known as Sheikh Ishomuddin Al-Asy'ari.
