MARCUS SYNTAR – ANALOG RYTM: 50 ways to make a drum beat
This is MARCUS SYNTAR's take on Steve Gadd's famous drum groove from the Paul Simon song '50 ways to leave your lover'. The goal was to move these rhythms into the world of analog synthesis while at the same time attempting to analyse and explain this iconic beat. The video is of course also meant to show the power of the Elektron Analog Rytm – one of the most beloved analog drum machines to date. The ultimate goal of this little project is to make a completely new song based on this classic groove, so hit SUBSCRIBE and stay tuned!
