About the prize for this month Like many other airlines, in 2020 Virgin Atlantic decided to retire the entire Boeing 747-400 fleet due to the health crisis. You now have the opportunity to come into possession of an authentic fragment of the former Boeing 747-400 aircraft of Virgin Atlantic, baptized "Ladybird" which carried the registration series G-VAST. The Boeing 747 with serial number 28757 was delivered to Virgin Atlantic in June 1997 and flew for the British company founded by Sir Richard Bronson for 23 years. In March 2020, with the first peak of the health crisis, it was withdrawn from service and parked initially in London and then in Manchester. In July, the "Ladybird" was finally moved to Wales and recycled, whereupon parts of its fuselage became part of the Aviationtag Ladybrid limited series.
