Please support my Patreon to help develop hang glider technology and build a 7th generation glider:   / hgdev   A truck test is the best way to test a wing as it lets you test the stability throughout the entire pitch range, not just the parts of the flight envelope that can be safely reached in test flying. It also allows the wing to be load tested with a fully realistic load case. Doing this enables us to identify the weakest point of the wing and reinforce that point, ending up with a wing which is both lightweight and extremely strong.
