【春の花と登山】カッコソウが咲いていました。桐生自然観察の森〜吾妻山

Summary April 9, 2026 (Thursday) On this day, after searching for spring flowers in Kiryu Nature Observation Forest, I hiked to Mt. Azuma. This was my first visit to Kiryu Nature Observation Forest, and I was pleased to find that the Primula japonica were in bloom. I had seen them before on Mt. Narugami in early May, but because the elevation here is lower, they bloom earlier. After walking around the park, I enjoyed the view from Buzzard Hill and headed towards Mt. Azuma. This route is part of the Kanto Fureai Trail. Mt. Kayano was the highest point of the day. I continued towards Mt. Azuma, but there were many ups and downs, and I arrived feeling a bit tired. The weather had been good in the morning, but it was cloudy at this time. The view was the best of the day, but it was a little disappointing. The descent had more rocky areas than I expected, which slowed me down. The path improved from the middle of the way down, and I reached my goal at Kiryu Station.
