Residents are being evacuated, and the government is realizing the damage from the unknown threat. We head to the Highrise district. On the elevator, we're being squeezed very tightly by processes in a confined space. It's good that we changed our build in time – it saved us. We reach the Terrace Plaza Apartments, where we take a break in Red's apartment and treat ourselves to the monkfish we ordered at Junction Jan's at the very beginning. It was delicious. As we climb higher, we learn that 66% of the city's population has disappeared. No one is affected by the process. And either from the high winds or some other unknown reason, our companion, the sword Transistor, has caught a real cold. He's started wheezing, coughing, slurring his thoughts and words, and simply slowing down. We're forced to take a break on our secret sandy beach. The main character is Red, a popular singer who loses the man she loves early in the game. By a strange coincidence, his consciousness is transferred into the glowing sword Transistor, and now the couple must uncover all the details of the assassination attempt through scraps of dialogue, recordings, and visuals. In search of clues, we travel through the beautiful futuristic city of Cloudbank, amidst neon lights and digital reality. Cloudbank is literally alive: its architecture, weather, and even laws are changed by the will of its residents through votes. But the city has been attacked by The Process—a systemic virus commanding an army of sentient robots that transform buildings and residents into nothingness. The Process are not just enemies, but a living phenomenon. Making our way through the emptying neighborhoods, we seek to uncover the interconnectedness of the assassination attempt, the virus, and the Camerata—a secret group of Cloudbank's elite. The game Transistor is considered one of the most stylish and atmospheric works by Supergiant (the creators of Bastion, Hades, and Pyre). It's an incredible art novel set in a cyberpunk world, with a stunning soundtrack and a very unique combat system.
