Bayonne Bridge northbound

The Bayonne Bridge connects northern Staten Island to the Bayonne Peninsula of northern New Jersey. The bridge opened in 1931 as the world's largest steel arch bridge: a title that it held until 1978. It's 1,675 ft. span is still among the world's longest.
