Chordplay - Ted Greene's Chord Chemistry

Hey everyone! Here's the next episode of Chordplay with Ted Greene's Chord Chemistry. I've had a lot of requests to feature some of the late-great Ted Greene's legendary ideas, concepts, and music, and I've also had a number of requests for "more jazz" lessons, so I hope this video hits both of the requests from viewers out there. Anyway - let's dive in! This lesson revolves around a series of ideas/concepts that I pulled from a variety of sources. This includes a brief example from his timeless book 'Chord Chemistry,' a "sampler platter" of slick chord voicings from his classic June 1980 Guitar Player Magazine lesson, along with a variety of ideas pulled from Dale Turner's Ted Greene tribute lessons from the March 2004 & December 2005 issues of Guitar One Magazine. So while there aren't any songs or flamethrower shredding in this video, the ideas, concepts, and inspiration being shared from Ted's educational material is where the action is in this lesson. So, be sure to bring an open mind, warmed-up fingers, and a tuned guitar before you click play on this lesson - there's a LOT going on here and plenty of mind-opening stuff flying around.
