Yes, we said, "And we are the servants of God, and we are the servants of God." We spoke of standing tall before God in humility; then we spoke of our Prophet standing tall; then we spoke of the tallness of the righteous predecessors, all the way up to Hazrat Pir-i Mughan. When Hazrat Ustad stands before God—I have heard it from his chosen students—he strives to deeply hear every word. I offer another parenthetical note: When leading congregational prayer in the mosque, there are those who are helpless, those who are weak, and those who are sick. Hazrat-i Ruh-u Seyyidi’l-Enâm says, “Sometimes I want to make the prayer very long. But when I hear a child's voice, I think of the mother's compassion and kindness towards her, and—if we were to translate it into Turkish—I immediately dismiss it!” I believe that “dismissal” is also twenty or thirty verses long; it's like the dismissal of the Pride of Humanity. But perhaps that expression seems inappropriate; one could say, “I'm rushing through it quickly, on that matter.” I heard it from Hazrat Pir's distinguished students: He strives to hear every word deeply within his conscience. Even people like Mustafa Sungur and Tahir—and others, I won't name names—prayed behind him, practically becoming ingrained in that connection, and they told their stories accordingly. Standing like this, he is practically bent like a staff before God. اَلْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ “I could not say it exactly!..” Deeply feeling the consideration that “The praise of every praiser, no matter who it is from, whoever it comes from, is only for Him (jalla jalaluhu)!”.. “Even if it comes punishment from Your Majesty / Or loyalty from Your Beauty / Both are a pleasure to the soul / Your grace is pleasant, so is Your wrath!” with the consideration… Despite everything, اَلْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ Because the duty of servitude is expressed with اَلْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ in the face of sacrifices and superfluities. As for the blessings that reach you, you respond with “gratitude.” اَلْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ Do not try to repeat it (while praying) until you feel it fully and deeply in your conscience and your heart enters into harmony with that rhythm… Then, اَلرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ What does the “Rahman” relate to; what does the “Raheem” relate to? مَالِكِ يَوْمِ الدِّينِ Which day does it remind us of? "The Day of Judgment," the day of accountability... Until the moment he feels it deeply in his conscience... Sometimes, perhaps all at once, he hears it: "Oooh!" he says, as if to say... "Oooh!" Then, as he himself stated, he finds his own personal servitude insufficient there. I am in a circle of rows! That row has formed rings around the Kaaba; and I am among them... all the way to Sidrat al-Muntaha... up to the spiritual beings in the sky... there to the Gabriels, Michaels, Israfils, Azrails, the Carrier of the Throne... up to those who are near to them... Everyone has formed circles within the belt of servitude and all of them say, إِيَّاكَ نَعْبُدُ "That is what I am saying. We all serve You! If I were able, I would like to present here to You all of what they have done in the name of servitude, in the name of servitude, in the name of servitude!.." Does he say it or not?!. إِيَّاكَ نَعْبُدُ But this is such a heavy task that it's honestly impossible to handle. Therefore, the matter of placing the words "وَإِيَّاكَ نَسْتَعِينُ" at the beginning expresses "hasr": "We seek help only from You!" Furthermore, if you consider the word "isti'âne" in the word "وَإِيَّاكَ نَسْتَعِينُ," it comes from the context of "istif'âl." “Sir, my heart is filled with many meanings / Give me a pleasant look, let me attain a sublime meaning / Through questioning, request, conscience, transformation, faith, belief / Okay, surrender, then, return to your Lord, the Most High!..” Perhaps several of these are being considered simultaneously. Request, transformation, turn, direction, and being in a state of decision are there… And what has been chosen is that Allah has chosen those words. When speaking, one must express those matters in accordance with the meanings of those words, in accordance with their spirit, in a way, with inner music. And the One Who is ...
