മലപ്പുറത്തുകാരായ ആസിഫും, യൂനസും ക്രിക്കറ്റ് ഗ്രൗണ്ടിൽ വച്ച് കണ്ടുമുട്ടി ചങ്കുകളായവരാണ്. പഠിക്കുമ്പോൾ തന്നെ പണം ഉണ്ടാകണം എന്ന ആഗ്രഹത്തിൽ പ്രശ്നങ്ങളിൽ പെട്ടിട്ടുമുണ്ട്. 10 ആം ക്ലാസ്സിൽ ഉമ്മയുടെ സ്വർണ്ണം ഇൻവെസ്റ്റ്മെന്റ് ചെയ്തു പണം നഷ്ടപ്പെടുത്തി. അത് വീണ്ടെടുക്കാൻ LIC ഏജൻസി എടുത്തു സ്വർണം വീണ്ടെടുത്തു. പിന്നീട് പാത്രങ്ങൾ, ഇലക്ട്രോണിക്സ്, ഫർണിച്ചർ തുടങ്ങിയ സാധനങ്ങൾ വയനാട് ജില്ലയിൽ വീടുകയിൽ എത്തിച്ചു കൊടുക്കുന്ന ബിസിനസ്സിൽ പങ്കാളികളായി. അത് അവരുടെ ജീവിതം മാറ്റുന്ന രീതിയിലേക്ക് മാറുകയായിരുന്നു. എന്നാൽ ഇത് ഇവർക്ക് പിരിയേണ്ടി വന്നു. കച്ചവടത്തിൽ നിരവധി തവണ ചതിക്കപ്പെട്ടെങ്കിലും, ലക്ഷങ്ങൾ നഷ്ടപ്പെട്ടെങ്കിലും ഇവർ തളർന്നില്ല. പിന്നീട് പഴയ ബിസിനെസ്സ് സ്വന്തമായി പടുത്തുയർത്തി - ബെസ്റ്റ് ഹോംസ് - ഹോമി എന്ന ബ്രാൻഡിൽ. നിരവധി പ്രൊഡക്ടുകൾ ഒരു ബ്രോഷറിൽ പ്രിന്റ് ചെയ്ത് ഏജന്റുകളെ നിയമിക്കുകയാണ് ഇവർ ചെയ്യുന്നത്. ഇന്ന് നാല് ജില്ലകളിലായി 2000 ത്തിൽ പരം ഏജന്റുകൾ ഇവർക്കുണ്ട്. ഇവർ ഓരോരുത്തരും ഒരു ചെറിയ സംരംഭകരായി തീരുകയാണ് ഹോമിയിലൂടെ. നല്ല ക്വാളിറ്റിയുള്ള ഉത്പന്നങ്ങൾ വിലക്കുറവിൽ വിൽക്കാൻ എളുപ്പമാണ് ഏജന്റുകൾക്ക്. വലിയ സ്വപ്നങ്ങളുമായി ഉയരങ്ങളിലേയ്ക്ക് പറക്കുകയാണ് ആസിഫും, യൂനസും. ഇവരുടെ ത്രസിപ്പിക്കുന്ന ജീവിത കഥയാണ് സ്പാർക്ക് കോഫി വിത്ത് ഷമീമിൽ. Asif EP and Yoonus KT from Malappuram first met on a cricket ground and became close friends.
