TvMex Noticias - Sentencian por más 82 años de prisión a sujeto acusado de pornografía infantil

In a joint operation between the Attorney General's Office of the State of Mexico (FGJEM) and the National Guard (GN), Marco Antonio González Ramírez was sentenced to 82 years and six months in prison for human trafficking, specifically for child pornography. This is the longest sentence of its kind in Mexico. Through the FGJEM's Specialized Human Trafficking Unit and the National Guard's Scientific Directorate, González Ramírez's involvement in the crime was proven. The court also ordered him to pay a fine of 7,794,202.50 pesos in damages to the victim, and his civil and political rights were suspended. The investigation began when the Human Trafficking Prosecutor's Office received a complaint from the Immigration and Customs Enforcement Service and the United States division of the International Humanitarian Society regarding a report on the use of two social media platforms where various images of possible child pornography production were located, in which several people under 18 years of age were seen in acts of bodily or sexual exhibitionism.
