Shillong to Mawlynnong via Bangladesh Border | Northeast India Road Trip In today's episode, our journey took an unexpected turn. We started our day in Shillong, but first had to return to the city because one of our friends had to leave the trip due to a personal emergency. After dropping her off, we continued our adventure towards Mawlynnong. Our original plan was to take the direct Shillong–Mawlynnong highway, but due to a major landslide, the road was completely blocked. Instead, we chose an alternate route that was much longer but turned out to be one of the most scenic drives of our entire Meghalaya road trip. 🚗 *Route:* Shillong → Cherrapunji → Seven Sisters Waterfall → Mawlynnong The journey was filled with breathtaking landscapes, lush green hills, winding mountain roads, waterfalls, clouds floating through the valleys, and stunning viewpoints along the way. Sometimes the unexpected routes create the best memories, and this drive was proof of that. After a long but beautiful day on the road, we finally reached **Mawlynnong**, famously known as **Asia's Cleanest Village**, late at night and got ready to explore it in the next episode.
