Gran Canaria Ep4 - Puerto de Mogan | Friday Market

We catch the 30 minute ferry from Puerto Deportivo and take in the stunning coastal scenery, eventually arriving at our destintion. Upon arrival we are greeted with a picture postcard marina with 2 storey buildings, many of which are restaurants and cafes surrounding the harbour area. We then look around the Mogan Market, with stalls full of t-shirts, leather goods and household goods. At the end of the first part of the market we find the beach, Playa de Mogan. This is also lined with cafe's, bars and restaurants. We stop to refuel in La Literna restaurant before moving on. We walk into the town and find there are loads more stalls stretching for what seems forever. However, it is a very crowded market and it was extremely hot on the day we were there. It became very crowded and there was a lot of pushing and people barging past. If crowded places aren't your thing we would suggest skipping this market. It was good to go and see this though and worth a trip for souvenirs.
