Spring training session using the trail and obstacles

Tom has been offering clinics in horsemanship with obstacles or visual aids. It gives everyone a better understanding and they learn to feel their horse. They realize their horse can do so much more. Building a better partnership. We have a great trail course at home that gives Tom the ability to train horses, and have lessons or clinics. The horses learn balance and foot placement. It is amazing to ride a horse that knows where their feet are and to use their rear end going down a hill. It builds confidence in both horse and rider. We have also been fortunate to have Tom work with people and their horses at different locations. This video is Tom riding Stretch on part of the trails and then going through several obstacles on the arena pad. He likes to let her move out and works on a rhythm. Tom is always changing things on the arena pad. When you go to a competition they change the layout of the patterns daily and for each level of difficulty. We want to thank Marion for gifting us all these obstacles to use for Tom's program. It has really helped to have so much for everyone to be able to work their horses. Tom just had 2 horses come in training this past week and he is looking forward to getting them out over the trail system and obstacles. Making them into all around horses for their owners. 💕🐃🏇🌲
