Hybrid Camping at the Grand Canyon

Have you ever wanted to go camping but also wished for a hot shower and a comfortable bed? That's exactly how this trip came together. It all started as a standard car camping plan, but the night before I left, I decided to mix things up. I was feeling really tired from a busy few work weeks and realized I really didn't want to deal with public showers. So, I made a last-minute decision to book a hotel too. I ended up creating my own version of hybrid camping, the perfect balance between adventure and comfort. I spent one night at the campsite, which was amazing! And used the hotel for the next two nights, and even used the campsite as a quiet basecamp to rest after a long walk along the South Rim. It turned out to be the absolute perfect way to enjoy nature and actually recharge. I'm so grateful for the flexibility to pivot when needed!
