The HANGKAI 3.6HP two-stroke outboard motor features a simple transmission consisting of a centrifugal clutch and a 2.08 final drive. This simple design results in a lightweight design and a correspondingly high power-to-weight ratio. The throttle is controlled by a motorcycle-style throttle grip located on the tiller. Reverse is accomplished by rotating the motor 180 degrees. These motors are recommended for inflatable boats 2.3-3.0 meters long and rigid-hull boats up to 4.0 meters long. They can also be used on larger boats and motorboats for maneuvering. Their main advantages are their light weight and low price. This motor is a modernized version of the M3.5HP motor.
