How Many Granny Squares Can I Crochet in a Day for My Blanket?! | Scrap Yarn Saturday

Part 2 of my scrap yarn granny square challenge is here! Before filming this video, I made a big decision. After looking at the granny squares from Part 1, I realized I wasn’t happy with how the blanket was coming together. Instead of forcing it, I decided to start over and sort the squares into seasonal color palettes to create two separate blankets: -Spring/Summer -Fall/Winter In today’s video, I focused on the Spring/Summer blanket and made 12 new granny squares using a bowl to randomly choose the colors for each row. Some color combinations turned out absolutely beautiful, while others were a little questionable. Even with the random color choices, I’m much happier with how this project is coming together now. Seeing the Spring/Summer colors grouped together makes the blanket feel more cohesive while still keeping the fun surprise element of the challenge. Thank you so much for watching!
