Meet the Maker: Paola Vanzo of mYak Yarns From a small village in the Italian Alps to studying Chinese in Venice, trains across Europe into Moscow to catch the Trans-Siberian Railway to Beijing China, Paola Vanzo of @myak_us has a wonderful story about her life to tell. Our next 'Meet the Maker' film done with @richardjungmedia tells Paola's journey into Tibet and the serendipitous meeting with a small boy with a baby yak in need of help and how, with Andrea Dominici, their lives in that moment as well of the Tibetan herders, was about to change. The yarns that grew out of that moment are some of the finest in the world - on a par with cashmere - and the spirit behind their independent brand is a wonderful one full of passion and commitment to do great good while creating beauty.
