Last year, the leader of the French far-right National Rally party, Marine Le Pen, was banned from running for public office after being found guilty of embezzling EU funds. It means - as it stands - she is not able to run in next year's presidential election. Now, she is appealing that ruling at the Paris Court of Appeal.
