Belgaum Food Trail | Episode 1

In the 2 days we spent at Belgaum / Belagavi, we covered a reasonably wide variety of vegetarian cuisines from across town. From tiffin items at Ajanta Café to thali at Shree Basaveshwar Lingayat Bhojnalaya, from holgi - basundi and meal on a plantain / banana leaf at Annapurneshwari to some more tiffin items at Tumkur Thatte Idli. Of course none of this can be called complete without having some kunda. So we went to Gajanan Mithaiwala where the kunda phenomenon started and not only did we eat some but also spoke to the proprietress regarding the history of kunda.
