Volkswagen has announced the launch of the new T-Cross Rock In Rio. This special edition marks the return of the automaker's partnership with the festival in its 2026 edition, which takes place between September 4th and 7th and from September 11th to 13th in Rio de Janeiro (RJ). The new feature will be offered exclusively on the 200 TSI version, positioning itself as an intermediate option that adds visual and finishing touches normally reserved for the more expensive configurations in the range. the goal is to bring the model closer to the world of music without altering its mechanics, focusing the changes on equipment, finish, and visual identity. The good news is that the special edition doesn't change the price, with the T-Cross Rock In Rio still costing the same R$ 142,990 as the 200 TSI version. Externally, the T-Cross Rock in Rio stands out due to a series of exclusive details. The SUV can be configured in Ninja Black, Sunset Red, Platinum Gray, and Ascot Gray, with the last three featuring two-tone paint, combining the body with a roof painted in Ninja Black. The presence of Ascot Gray is noteworthy as it is a shade normally associated with the T-Cross Extreme, the top-of-the-line version of the family. Another distinguishing feature is the darkened 17" diamond-cut wheels, equipped with Seal Inside tires, a technology that uses an internal sealant layer capable of reducing pressure loss in case of small punctures. The package also includes exclusive festival-inspired decals applied to the front doors and trunk lid, as well as the Rock in Rio logo stamped on the rear pillars. At the front, the highlight is the adoption of the LED Light Bar, a luminous strip that connects the headlights and is currently only offered on the higher-spec versions of the SUV.
