Hannah ARENDT - La fin du travail et le malheur de l’homme moderne
Presentation : Hannah Arendt presents, at the very beginning of the Condition of Modern Man, the end of work as a curse. Not in that work would be endowed with particular virtues, but in that its disappearance, in an era that has bet everything on its value, leaves man helpless. It will be a question of understanding this confusion as part of a broader gesture, the one by which Arendt makes philosophy itself a means of analysing our present, or even an ontology of current events. Olivier Dekens is a professor of philosophy in literary preparatory classes at the Guist'hau high school in Nantes. He devotes most of his work to the contemporary French philosopher. Conférence donnée lors des Rencontres de Sophie les 24-26 mars 2017 http://philosophia.fr/activites-renco...
