Schneider XW with Lithium Battery Backup Without Solar

The inverter is connected to a 7.5kWh KiloVault HAB 48V lithium battery. Ben does not have solar directly connected to the backup system, so the inverter/charger charges the battery from the grid when it is up. If the grid goes down, the battery is used to power his furnace blower, refrigerator, lights, and office. Since he does not have solar or a generator, the battery cannot be recharged until the grid comes back on. However, he does not lose power for long, so it is able to provide all of the backup he needs until the grid comes back.
