My Experience with Zoloft 3 Years Later

Sharing my experience with using Sertraline (Zoloft) 3 years later! Also an update on my medical insurance, or lack of, talking about Latuda, and more! Zoloft is a brand name for the medication sertraline, which is a type of antidepressant known as a selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSRI). It is used to treat a variety of mental health conditions, including depression, anxiety, and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). Sertraline works by increasing the levels of a neurotransmitter called serotonin in the brain. Serotonin is a chemical that helps regulate mood, and increasing its levels can help improve mood and reduce symptoms of depression and anxiety. Zoloft is typically taken by mouth in the form of a pill. It may take several weeks for the full effects of the medication to be felt, and it is important to continue taking it as prescribed by a doctor, even if you start to feel better. Like all medications, Zoloft can have side effects, which may include drowsiness, dizziness, and dry mouth. It is important to discuss any concerns or questions about the medication with a healthcare provider.
