The Commer Gets Its Name Back! Custom Tailgate Build & prewar car fun !!!!

This week on Hey, The Crusty Cabover, I crack on with the 6-cylinder Commer PB pickup, finishing the rear quarter panels, dropsides and tailgate, which gets a laser-cut COMMER logo for the finishing touch. I also improve the auto shifter linkage before heading back to Mel's Taxi, the small-block Chevy-powered FX4, to continue investigating the engine after its dropped valve drama. Then it's time for some fun when my mate Neil brings down his 1935 Hillman Special, "Green", before putting it up for sale. We take it out alongside my 1936 Austin Roadster, "The Leaf", for a proper run out. Plenty of progress, a bit of problem solving, and some great old-car fun—come along for the ride! drop me a mail if interested in Neil's hillman special.
