Today we are taking a trip to Lodge Cast Iron in South Pittsburg, TN. This wasn’t a planned trip. Our backyard connects with a city park. Last Friday, I was outside and watched a lady pull up to the park and leave a puppy. Long story short, I contacted Melissa at Safe Haven Animal Rescue in Scottsboro, AL after making sure the dog didn’t have a chip or was reported missing. We set up a time to meet Melissa on Saturday. We drive through South Pittsburg on our way to Scottsboro. So, on the way back, we stopped by Lodge. It was 40 minutes before they closed so thankfully there were barely any other people there.
