HO MOLLATO A 2900m... Ma poi è successo QUESTO! ❌➡️🏔️ Cima Val Bona (3033m) da Chiareggio

This is the story of how a psychological blow turned into the most epic day of the year! I set out from Chiareggio with the goal of conquering the wild Cima Val Bona (3,033m). I climbed steadily along the normal trail, passing through the beautiful Alpe Vezzeda until I reached the Rifugio Del Grande - Camerini (2,580m). So far, everything was perfect. The problem began above the refuge: after passing 2,900 meters, I found myself facing several snowfields, and due to the hail and violent storms of the previous days, the trail was completely obliterated. With no reference points, discouraged, and without any snow gear, I made the wisest decision: I gave up and headed back to the refuge. But it was right here that fate turned the tables. Over a coffee, talking with the refuge keepers, I discovered the truth: the trail had indeed disappeared due to the bad weather, but the pass above was completely clear, and someone had already ascended! With the morale of With the refuge keeper's words still in my head, I turned around and climbed back up a second time! Without crampons or an ice axe, but with fierce determination, I overcame my mental blocks, found the path, and reached the summit cross at 3,033 meters. An indescribable spectacle! The price? A normal 12km loop with 1,400m of elevation gain turned into a brutal 17km sprint with almost 1,800 meters of elevation gain! A true test of physical and mental endurance. Enjoy the video, the breathtaking views of the North Face of Mount Disgrazia, and let me know in the comments: would you have turned around again to climb back up, or would you have enjoyed the view from the refuge? 👇☕🏔️ GPX track (with our 'double' route) on Wikiloc: https://loc.wiki/t/271709746?wa=sc 📊 ACTUAL DAY INFO: Start/Finish: Chiareggio (Valmalenco - SO) Route: Chiareggio - Alpe Vezzeda - Rifugio Del Grande Camerini - Attempt at 2,900 m - Return to the refuge (Coffee break) - Second ascent - Vazzeda Pass - Cima Val Bona summit (3,033 m) - Descent to Chiareggio.
