Why Go All The Way to Rockaway, Queens?

Rockaway has the biggest urban beach area in the country. 14 miles of designated beach area is on that one peninsula. That's a lot of beach, concession stands, parks, swimming, sunbathing, and even surfing. That's why go to Rockaway. There's so much to see and do that I haven't even finished checking this neighborhood out. Guess I'll have to go back! Thank You!
