Dear Stranger is the practical case. During production, I used Manus to research events, plan the trip, find potential interviewees, and automate contacts and follow-ups. After filming, I used Claude to organize and analyze 28 hours of material, identify recurring themes, find connections between interviews, and explore different narrative paths. But AI didn't direct the documentary. It functioned as a support team: it amplified my ability to research, organize, and see possibilities. The choice of questions, characters, emotions, and story remained human.
