Pedra do Baú - São Bento do Sapucaí

This time, we tackled the climb up Pedra do Baú, in São Bento do Sapucaí. The trail starts off challenging, with a steep hike to the base of the rock. But the real adventure begins with the ascent via ferrata, using steel cables and safety equipment. Although hiring a guide isn't mandatory, we chose to climb with a local guide who provided full support and explained exactly how to use the equipment during the route. And it was worth every step. From the top, the view is simply incredible. Lots of greenery on all sides, Bauzinho right in front, and in the background, the famous Ana Chata completing the landscape. São Bento do Sapucaí is the kind of destination that always surprises. We explored the three rocks in the region and, honestly, it's a place you never get tired of visiting.
